Vancouver Conference October 19-20, 2012

Well  technically it is not in Vancouver. The site location is in a lovely little town called Chilliwack, British Columbia about a 40 minute drive in some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in God’s creation. On that weekend, we will be exploring  the topic of Revival. Unlike conferences in the past, our focus will cover slightly different ground of God’s providential working in history.
Two sessions will focus on what the Scriptures have to say about this amazing and spectacular out pouring of the Spirit of God. Mark Jones will focus on Acts 2, the first New Testament record of Revival and then followup with a session entitled Diligent Plodding. The periods of Revival, through dramatic and spectacular only encompass a small span of Church History. The Church still grows through the day to day hum drum practices of the local church.

The two other sessions will look at points of history that saw Revival but are little talked about today.

London Regional Conference November 12, 2011

What is man that You are mindful of Him? So asked the Psalmist! In this year’s London conference, we ask and answer one of the most foundational questions of existence namely, what does it mean to be a human being? Are we merely, the accidental bi-products of a long line of chemical mishaps? Or are we the purposeful products of a supernatural designer?

If so, then why are we here? What is our purpose? Where are we going? At the end of the day, does it really matter if we exist at all?

Are we an intrusion on the natural landscape or are we stewards of a planet given to us by God?

Vancouver Regional Conference October 21-22, 2011

Come join is Vancouver in the month of October as we explore the foundations of the Christian Church. Our old friend Derek Thomas and a new friend of the ministry, Stephen Wellum, explore the biblical basis for the 5 Solas of the Reformation. Each session will explore these core concepts and   expound on their iplications for evangelism, sanctification and the everyday life of the believer.

We pray it will strengthen your faith, fuel your passion to serve Christ in your local church and provide help as you seek to live for God’s glory and tell others about the “good news” of the Gospel!

Toronto National Conference October 1, 2011

One of the illegitimate criticisms of Calvinistic Doctrine in general Reformed Churches in particular is that they hold to a cold fatalism with respect to the state of the lost. Granted, there have been failures on the part of Calvinistic churches to seriously consider our Lord’s command to go into the all the world making disciples and baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Spirit. However, the failure to evangelize is largely due to disobedience and complacency rather than a deficiency in the Biblical doctrine. In fact, when one looks at the history of Revivals and evangelism, one comes to the striking realization that many of the deepest and most effective revivals have come under the preaching of Calvinistic or Reformed ministers. The entire way we do missions today is due to Calvinistic ministers like Andrew Fuller and William Carey, the founders of the Modern Mission Movement.

We hope to recapture some of the grand and glorious teachings of Scripture this Fall as we examine once again the Bible’s teaching on this very needful topic. Our prayer is that you might come away excited and motivated to take the Gospel to your home, your church, your workplace and where ever the Lord directs your steps.
